Supervision

Rachel Brown, with WiseMind Counseling, offers clinical supervision to Masters-level therapists and Licensed Professional Counselor Candidates (LPCCs) who are looking to complete licensure requirements for Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado. She has completed the necessary 45 hours of Approved Clinical Supervision training in 2024 and has gained supervision experience through Spark the Change.

Rachel works from a humanistic perspective and often utilizes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and trauma-informed care with clients. She also focuses on helping individuals create a better understanding of emotional regulation and somatic awareness.

As a supervisor, Rachel thrives to help new therapists feel more confident within their abilities to help others. She supervises through a developmental lens and shows interest in how you create a relationship with clients. Rachel will help supervisees gain insight into how they make decisions within sessions, provide educational feedback, and explore the intricacies of therapy.
