My name is Rachel, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Denver, Colorado with training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and certification in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). I aim to foster a secure and nurturing environment that helps in cultivating a constructive rapport with my clients. Navigating the tumultuous period of adolescence and young adulthood can be daunting due to the myriad of life transitions that occur. It’s completely normal to feel uncertain about the future. Personal growth is an ongoing journey where we strive to understand and define our identity and aspirations. You don’t have to undertake this journey by yourself any longer.

In my practice, I emphasize the importance of mental health maintenance as the bedrock of a fulfilling life for both teens and adults. For teens, the developmental tasks of forging an identity, nurturing self-esteem, and developing a sense of belonging are paramount. These are mighty rivers to cross, and mental health support is the sturdy bridge that can carry them safely to the other side. When teens learn to value and attend to their mental health, they equip themselves with a compass that will guide them through adulthood.
